Dr. Justin D. Arnold is a board-certified dermatologist with a special interest in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and clinical research.
Dr. Arnold obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, San Diego, where he also performed biomedical research at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. His commitment to patient care led him to pursue a Master of Medical Science degree from the Yale University School of Medicine. Following this, Dr. Arnold practiced for four years as a primary care physician assistant at a federally qualified health center in Washington, DC.
He obtained his medical doctorate degree at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society for graduating amongst the top of his class. After completing this rigorous training, Dr. Arnold returned to California to perform his internship at the Riverside Community Hospital Transitional Year Program and his three-year dermatology residency training at the University of California, Irvine.
Dr. Arnold has published extensively in journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, JAMA Dermatology, JAMA Surgery, and Pediatric Dermatology, and he looks forward to providing and expanding access to dermatologic care in Humboldt and Del Norte Counties.
