About the Practice

North Pacific Dermatology is a state-of-the-art dermatology practice located in McKinleyville, Crescent City, and now Fortuna, California. The highly skilled team takes a patient-centered approach to skin care, creating individual plans that provide the best possible outcomes.

At North Pacific Dermatology we work with our patients to manage all types of skin conditions including acne, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis, as well as provide screening and treatment for skin cancers. We also now offer Mohs surgery for the removal of skin cancers on sensitive areas such as the head and neck.

In addition to medical and surgical services, North Pacific Dermatology provides aesthetic services to address various skin concerns such as laser treatments for tattoo or hair reduction, improvement of fine lines and wrinkles, microneedling, and injectables such as botulinum toxin and facial filler.

The practice strives to provide evidenced-based care in both the medical, surgical, and  aesthetic field. All cosmetic and surgical procedures are performed by experienced  medical professionals.

Everything was splendid Except that I was helped off with 1 sandal and the velcro strap was open before I could shout no And I am now trying to get it to work again. The lat time On the velcro closure where the sandal is extremely comfortable and anything else is very painful, and now I can't wear my sandals until I can find the sweet spot again. Dr. Kinsley is the best. He really cares about his patients and while he is very professional he is also friendly and kind. His nurse is a sweet young lady who in nice as well as efficient at her part of your care. When you check in and out with the front staff you are always greeted with a smile and a kind word. First off, I was especially impressed by the friendly attention of Mr. Parker's partner/assistant, though am afraid I did not get her name. As an intake person/assistant, she impressed me with her undivided attention and focus throughout the visit, always smiling, attentive, and seemed genuinely interested in my concerns and the procedures . Hank is very personable and competent. For decades I have been coming here, initially always to see Dr. Kelly Kinsley, who helped me with several issues. But now schedules have changed and am very pleased to be under the care of Hank Parker whom I have previously seen and who is efficient, informative and competent as well as very personable. Wasn't expecting the cryo therapy, but it sounded like a way to minimize bleeding (I take Elequis blood thinner because of a Polycythemia Vera condition). The treatment was almost totally pain free, and at least the first day afterward was without incident.
